A cave diver swims through a tight pale limestone channel, the headlamp beam cutting into green water ahead.

Sebastjan Gantar, a cave rescuer and diver from Postojna, helped us retrieve two water loggers from Škratovka Cave, which had been installed at the end of about 100 metres of passage beyond a sump.

When he returned to the surface after 27 minutes, he also posed for a few photographs.
