Ždink Cave

With Cyril, we went to see his favourite cave, Ždink Cave, because he is currently studying the springs at Trnje near Pivka.

The cave begins with a 20-metre descent through a narrow shaft, followed by about 200 metres of horizontal passages to the water, where we saw four olms. The water was too turbulent to photograph the proteus, and they also fled after a few minutes when we shone a light on them.
