Tandem Paragliding Flight from Javorniki and Planinska gora

Ana's classmate, a karst researcher at the Karst Research Institute ZRC SAZU, wanted to fly over the flooded Cerkniško polje that he studies in his postdoctoral research.

His wish was not difficult to fulfil. First we made a short flight from Planinska gora, above and through the wisps of mist to Planinsko polje, followed by an hour and a half of freezing soaring over Lake Cerknica.

Working together, we also made some beautiful photographs—with Ana as our ground support, and the two of us in the air, although Matej mostly pressed the shutter.
